Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship, we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.
We have a beautiful church campus in San Marco, Florida, but we strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. It is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts to see our city changed.
We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship and ultimately growing closer to God. We respect the word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

Phillip Short
Senior Pastor
Phillip and his wife Giova have been a part of leading Southside since 2019. He has a heart for Jesus, is a gifted story teller and likes to hike in the mountains when he has the chance.
Dale Tedder
Minister of Discipleship
Dale and his wife, Suzanne have been a part of Southside for over 20 years. They have 4 awesome children. When not leading or teaching Dale enjoys reading and is a big C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien fan.
Ian Stake
Director of Evangelism, Worship Leader
Ian and his wife Caroline have been a part of the Southside community since thier two boys were in preschool here (over twenty years ago). He loves music and connecting with people. You can often find him at the beach.
Angie Cosper
Director of Childrens Ministry
Angie and her husband Chip have three children and have been a part of the Southside community for over 20 years. Angie has a love for kids and a keen eye for design.

Melissa has two sons and keeps all of us organized while handling the administraion of our campus and front office.

Jennifer and her husband have three children and she helps all us stay financially sound and organized.
