Join us for a very special Wednesday Night Dinner on November 20th as we celebrate and thank Amy Mosby, our beloved Southside Methodist Church cook, for her many years of dedicated service. Amy has been a cherished part of our church family, creating delicious meals and warm memories for us all.
As Amy prepares to trade her apron for bottles and embrace an exciting new chapter—helping care for her soon-to-arrive twin grandbabies—we want to show her our appreciation and love. This special dinner will double as a grandbaby shower in her honor!
If you would like, please consider bringing a pack of diapers to support Amy and her family as they welcome these precious new additions. This gift is completely optional, as your presence alone will mean so much.

Come enjoy the music of the holiday season with The Don Thompson Chorale. The Chorale is a local community chorus whose singers come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including legal, medical, education, and business, with member ages ranging from college to retirement. The Don Thompson Chorale is named after its first director and, 30 years later, continues “to create beautiful choral music and share it with as many people as possible”.
Join us at Southside Methodist Church on Sunday, December 1st at 4 PM to celebrate the start of Christmas! Admission is FREE, and donations will be accepted. Bring a friend!

Annual Advent Dinner – Save the Date! Join us for a cherished tradition at Southside Methodist Church—the annual Advent Dinner! This special evening will take place on Monday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. Gather with us as we celebrate the start of the Advent season with fellowship, delicious food, warm conversation, and entertainment for Phil and Bette Mattox—$ 20 per person in advance or at the door.
